By getting involved with Iran are we manifesting our own destiny and ignoring the log in our own eyes?

"And why worry about a speck in your friend's eye when you have a log in your own?"
Matthew 7:3 (Bible Version ex; NIV, NLB ect).
I have been watching the whole Iran situation unfold and it looks like Florida right here in America back in the year 2000. Have we forgotten so fast how we got George Bush as a president for the last 8 years? He then turned around and stole the election again in 2004 by rigging the votes in Wisconsin. I don’t know what we expect the President to do about a situation over in Iran when we have the same problems with our democracy right here on our own soil. Do you think that America should go around policing the whole world? Should we be spending more time on our own affairs, seeing that our economy is failing and our moral convictions are on a down spin with domestic terrorism?
“The United States presidential election of 2000 was a contest between Republican candidate George W. Bush, then-governor of Texas and son of former president George H. W. Bush (1989-1993), and Democratic candidate Al Gore, then-Vice President. Bill Clinton, the incumbent President, was vacating the position after serving the maximum two terms allowed by the Twenty-second Amendment. Bush narrowly won the November 7 election, with 271 electoral votes to Gore's 266 (with one elector abstaining in the official tally). The election was noteworthy for a controversy over the awarding of Florida's 25 electoral votes, the subsequent recount process in that state, and the unusual event of the winning candidate having received fewer popular votes than the runner-up.[1] It was the closest election since 1876. Attorney and political activist Ralph Nader ran on the Green Party ticket and his running mate was Native American activist Winona LaDuke of Minnesota”.
I remember as a youth reading the book the Art of War. I remember reading the importance of dividing your enemies in two and getting them to go to war against each other. I also read a great book called the Unseen Hand. It talks about the powers that be and how they are not easily visible. I bring up these books because they give great insight into how governments start wars all over the world. I think about how all the gangs in my neighborhood started out as youth sports teams, minority business etc. and then when drugs and violence became more profitable for the founders of the groups, the powers that be influenced these group leaders with money, drugs, and greed. I wonder if money and drugs have anything to do with this new found enemy we have called Iran? America’s greatest terrorist J. Edgar Hoover who used these tactics to cause problems in SCLC, The Nation of Islam and also the Black Panthers perfected these tactics of divide and conquer.
Do you think the President should preside over the affairs in America only? We need to let other nations develop their Democracy without our interference. Should we be the Democratic police seeing that less than 50 years ago we still separated people by color for bathrooms and water fountains? I keep hearing that President Obama is the President of the free world not just America. I have a problem with anyone African American or Caucasian from America running the whole world based on our moral understanding of Democracy.
The Revolutionary Guard-sworn to defend the Islamic system at all costs and the Society of Scholars of Qom Seminary, the oldest clerical organization in the city and the seat of Shiite religious learning in the country are at odds. The groups have already been separated in the media, you can look for the governments to choose sides. Will the deciding factors be based on who agrees with the policy of the west? I would like to see us let these countries develop at their own pace and then receive change in the time frame their country can develop by. We were allowed to work on our democracy and look we now have Barack Obama the ultimate definition of CHANGE. Until Truth Prevails my eyes will be watching.
