2009 My favorite pictures and moments: As a photojournalist I would like to share some of my favorite pics and moments of the year

I started the year in D.C. at President Obama swearing in ceremony and parade. I stood in the cold for over ten hours. My experience of growing up in Chi Town paid off.

I then came back to Atlanta and focused on the mayoral race. I admired one candidate because he was young and very interested in bringing the arts back to Atlanta. The new Mayor of Atlanta Kasim Reed.

I was then invited personally by Julian and Michael Bond to cover Michael Bond's successful run for City Council Presidesnt.

I have to reflect back to Febuary just in time for Valentine's Day. I was invited to cover the Joyce Latell Valentines Day Poetry event with her special guest Marcia from Floetry. I took pics of everyone from Georgia Me to Jon Goode.

The summer was coming in fast and I had to cover the Malcom X, Marcus Garvey and the House In The Park events just to name a few.
