ATLANTA FOR HAITI — As you can imagine, Wednesday starts one of the MOST DIFFICULT moments in Haiti’s history. In the process of cleaning up and helping families relocate, aid workers are going to need several items.
Over the next few days members Atlanta’s Urban Entertainment Community (some who have family in Haiti) will be collecting the following:
Water – preferably in cases
Medicine – ie, pain killers (Tylenol, Advil), allergy medicine, bandages, insulin, antibiotics, etc.
Clothing
Diapers , Wipes & Formula
Feminine Products
Shoes
Non-perishable goods
Think of everything you would need in the event that your home was completely destroyed. We will have more details over the next few days about drop off locations throughout the metro-Atlanta area, as well as a mailing address for those wishing to send in their donations from elsewhere.
You can also make financial donations directly to the Haitian Alliance via their website www.TransformHaiti.Org.
